Pastor Tom Grieb continues our “Health Assessment” sermon series.

We were not built to go it alone.  We were created to be in relationship, relationship with God and with one another. Much of life is based on the relationships we develop. We should always be nurturing those we have and seeking out new ones. Good friends are worth their weight in gold. In fact, they surpass all the gold in the world.

Good friends support one another, listen to one another, and are there for one another. And, of course, good friends love one another. We should do all we can do to be a good friend to those around us.

Proverbs 18:24 hit it right: “Some friends play at friendship, but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearer kin.” When we just play at friendship we miss out on so much. When we are intentional life becomes sweeter and certainly more fulfilling.
