Children’s Ministry

We want even the littlest ones to experience God’s love. We offer staffed infant and toddler rooms at each Sunday worship service where children are cared for in a safe and loving environment. Our rooms include age appropriate toys with a low teacher to child ratio, and a Bible story program for toddlers.

In 1967, a new toy was created. the LiteBrite®! It was an instant hit and families are still having fun making pictures it. This month, we’re talking about another bright light, THE light that God sent into the world. And His name is Jesus! Each time we choose to love like Jesus, we are a bright light. Like LiteBrite pegs light up to make a picture, each act of love is a bright light for the world to see Jesus.

Think back to when someone made time for you. No matter what it is, when they do this for us, it can bring us joy, like a light shining on a dark day. Caring for one another isn’t always easy, but it is what Jesus asks of us. When Jesus gave the command in Matthew 5 to let our light shine, it wasn’t just to bring joy into other’s lives, but to bring glory to God. And as we “Live Bright” this month, we’ll see how we can shine God’s light.
