Adult Ministries

St John offers many opportunities for small groups and fellowship for Adults.

Small Groups

St John offers numerous women’s, men’s, coed, and couples studies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of St John’s small groups are meeting online, and  a few are meeting at the church with social distancing guidelines in place.  Contact Ashlee Adkins with questions about plugging into a small group, or signup online.

Discipleship

Jesus discipled 12 of his followers; He trained them to be disciple-makers and to multiply. What would happen if you decided to do the same? We could reach the entire world with the gospel. Take the initiative to grow, learn to communicate, and multiply your faith.

Men’s Ministry

St John Men’s Ministry includes a weekly fellowship meeting at Starbucks in Prospect (Thursday mornings at 7:30), and several weekly Bible studies, along with special events for fellowship and growth.

Women’s Ministry

St. John Women’s Ministry includes women’s small group studies, our monthly Engage ministry, MOPs, and occasional special events.  Events and small groups are open to women of all ages and St. John membership is not required.

MOPs

St John MOPS is chartered by MOPS International and is open to all mothers of preschoolers in the community.

Engage

Engage is a ministry for women of all ages to gather together for a time of fellowship, fun, and discussion-based groups on a variety of relevant topics. Engage usually meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the St. John Youth Center from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Refreshments are served and childcare is available with reservations.
