Worship & Music Ministry
St John has a vibrant Worship & Music ministry, including praise teams, choirs, bells, orchestra, technical ministries, as well as children’s opportunities such as the Christmas pageant.
We’ve been leading worship in smaller groups for now, but look forward to resuming our large group ensembles soon. Get in touch if you’d like to get involved!

Praise Teams
St John’s praise teams lead worship at our Contemporary Worship service at 10:20 am. You’ll hear music like you hear on Christian radio.
Solos and Small Ensembles
Soloists and small ensembles sing special music at our Traditional Worship Service.
Chancel Choir
Open to Adults & Youth, Chancel choir sings at our Traditional worship service, in addition to performing a Lent/Easter Cantata and a Christmas musical each year.
St John Bells
Our bells ring as soloists, small group, and large group in our traditional service. We are always happy to gain new members!
St John Orchestra
The orchestra is open to string and wind players, and perform for various worship services and special events.
Technical Ministries
Our technical ministries run slides, lights, sound, and cameras in our worship services, and switcher and sound for our livestream. We’re always looking for more people to serve!
Children’s Musical Camp
Our 2023 Musical Camp will be July 18-21, 900 a.m. – noon, with an evening performance on July 21 at 7:00 p.m. Musical Camp is open to children who are age 4 by July 18 through rising 6th graders. Those in grades 2-6 can try out for solos or speaking parts at 11:30 a.m. on July 2nd, 9th or 16th in the Barn. Click to register for Musical Camp now!
