Pastor Ashlee Adkins continues our “Health Assessment” sermon series.

The late great George Burns once said this: "Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family…in another city." Family is precious, but as we all know, it can be hard and complicated, too.

The pressure and stress of leading a family in the world right now is extremely hard. We are more connected via the internet and social media than ever, but on the flip side we are more disconnected from relationship and real connection than we have ever been.

Parents are working more than ever because of easy accessibility while trying to be present at home. Kids are feeling the pressure of constant scrutiny because their whole lives are documented online. And marriages are surviving with a pool noodle and schedules.

We have to fight for our families. Proverbs makes it clear how to do that. In this message we dig into this timeless wisdom, no matter your family dynamic, variation, or situation.

Passage: Proverbs 1:8-9, 18:22, 19:14, 22:6, 31:10, 28
