After a varied career in tax, accounting and finance working at the IRS, in public accounting and as a CFO in both the real estate and health care industry, with a 5 year detour for photography in the mountains, I retired early so my wife, Diane, and I could move from Colorado to Louisville to help care for her elderly parents. It became clear very soon that I was not quite ready for retirement, and I was blessed to have my prayer of finding employment in a non-profit setting answered by being guided to St John. I love the outdoors and enjoy travel, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, alpine and cross country skiing with Diane, and even an occasional round of whacking the ball around on the golf course.
