The Supremacy of Christ
Colossians 1:15–17
In a world that constantly pulls our attention in countless directions, Colossians 1:15–17 gently yet powerfully calls us back to the center—Jesus Christ Himself. These verses lift our hearts to behold Christ as the image of the invisible God, the One through whom all things were created and for whom all things exist. Before anything began, He was already there, and even now, He sustains all things by His mighty and loving hand.
This sermon invites us to rest in the truth that Christ is not distant or detached from our lives. He is supreme over every power, every circumstance, and every moment—yet He is also near, faithfully holding everything together. When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, the supremacy of Christ reminds us that nothing is beyond His authority or His care.
The Supremacy of Christ calls us to renew our trust, deepen our worship, and realign our lives around Jesus—not as one priority among many, but as the Lord of all. As we behold His greatness, we are invited to live with confidence, peace, and hope, knowing that the One who reigns over creation is the same One who lovingly reigns in our hearts.
