History

In September ’99, Harold Smith, a long-time layleader, wrote a history of St John. In it, he said “We stand on a firm foundation and look upward and outward to the boundless opportunities to serve our Lord and Savior.  We have been blessed by offering multifaceted programs of study, worship, fellowship, and service to our members, and to our community. “

These words remain true today as we strive to live out our mission statement and our core values.
