I have loved music and the performing arts since I was a young child. I grew up singing, learning to play instruments (clarinet, french horn, and piano!), participating in choirs and chamber vocal groups, marching and concert bands, orchestras, district musicals, and even a steel drum band.

I pursued music education in both college and graduate school, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Music from Cornell College and my MDiv in Worship from Southern Seminary. I’ve worked with adults and youth in various roles such as Web developer, Digital Media Technician, Lead Service Producer, Play & Music teacher, Youth Counselor, and currently, Lead Teacher in the 2-year-old room at Baptist Hospital Louisville’s Child Development Center.

My husband, George, and I have been married since 2007 and live in Louisville, KY. When not rocking out with The Bridge band, you’ll find me watching sci-fi, doing ancestry research, writing music, working out at the pool, or helping George with his business, dramabygeorge.com.
