Pastor Ashlee Adkins continues our “Health Assessment” sermon series.

We’ve talked a lot about the mind and our thoughts in the past year. We know that we are living in the times of information overload. When we watch the news, not only are we listening to someone, but we see visuals, a scroll bar at the bottom and sometimes even on the side – all of which are trying to engage our minds with different information about the same topic.  It is overwhelming!

It’s not hard to believe that we are tired. Our basic thought bandwidth is held for our jobs, trying to do a good job in whatever family role we hold, and then, hopefully, there’s a little space for spending time with God.

When we think about our minds, we probably don’t think that our hearts would be in the same assessment of health – but that’s not the case with God. Our heart health is what drives our mind’s health.

So, how are you doing? Ashlee raises some important questions to help you discern that answer. We pray it’s a good one and if not, it’s ok - know you are in the right place for changing that.
