Pastor Tom Grieb and Pastor Ashlee Adkins wrap up our series on the Themes of Christmas.

Emmanuel has come and we have celebrated! It’s easy to get back into the swing of things and in the busyness of life, and the good news of the great joy begins to fade into the background of to-do lists, deadlines, and planning.

The shepherds saw Jesus and left praising and glorifying him – sharing the good news. And it wasn’t because they felt like they had to, but because of a deep transformation that could only be expressed through a change in their lives. This change pointed to the newborn King, the Messiah, the Light of the world.

Once we hear the good news, God offers us the same transformation. It’s a transformation and change that entails glorifying and praising God in all that we do, to all that we meet. It’s a daily choice we make to choose the Kingdom over everything. As we begin a new year, let’s embark on a journey to see what that looks like; a journey to be a people who loves God and loves others by living out the Good News for all to hear.
