Mountain Mission Donation Drop-Off

Mountain Missions has seven “Opportunity Stores” in Eastern Kentucky which provide both low-cost goods and employment opportunities in the area. They accept gently used household goods and clothing. Please box donations for easier loading on the truck!
Serve on Sunday Mornings
Saint John offers many ways to step up and be God’s hands and feet on Sunday mornings. Current needs include ushers and Children’s Ministry Volunteers (Welcome Center hosts and small group leaders)
Chancel Renovation
Worship in the Gym Beginning June 26
The renovation of the chancel area in our sanctuary is expected to take 4-6 weeks. Updates will include hardwood flooring, a newly styled kneeling rail, a brick veneer across the front wall, an accessibility ramp, an enclosure for the drums, improvements to our PA and lighting systems, and repairs to the stained glass window.
Baby Wipes & Clorox Wipes for Portland Promise Center
Portland Promise Center, which serves the Portland neighborhood in Louisville, will be opening a preschool this fall. We are collecting wipes for the preschool. Please place donations in the barrels in the lobby.
Musical Camp
July 25-29
9:30 a.m.-Noon
Children age 4 through rising 6th graders will learn and present a musical in one week! The performance will be the evening of July 29. Cost is $20 per child and includes a T-shirt.
2nd graders and up can try out for solos or speaking parts at 11:30 a.m. on June 26 or July 10 (they will stay at Musical Camp till 1:00 p.m. each day).
Saint John Night at the Louisville Bats
Tuesday, July 26, 7:05 p.m.
Join us for a fun night of fellowship and baseball! Tickets are $5 each and must be ordered in advance . On Tuesdays, the Bats offer $1 hot dogs, soda, chips & popcorn. Families may drive themselves or reserve seats in one of our 15-passenger vans. Reservations are first come, first served. Those who ride in a van will stay for the duration of the event.
